A good discussion about peace talks. The Russians cannot trust the USA as they have acted in a Machiavellian way in the past. The only way Russia would accept a peace deal at this stage would be for Ukraine to surrender and give up all their weapons. That would be the starting point. Any military force still existing in Ukraine, along with their existing Government, plus the backing of the West, would be seen as an ongoing threat to Russia. All these things would have to be ended for the Russians to agree to stop fighting.

Real science is objectively looking at things regardless of authority, society and preconceived ideas, and considering the fundamental data.
In Scott Adam's world of persuasion, if you have a million scientists that seemingly agree with authority, and their leaders present well on TV, then the few dissenting people, pointing to the fundamental flaws, MUST be wrong. This ignores group think psychology, politics, including financial incentives to go along with the majority position, and ignores history, where a few individuals did indeed upend the orthodox position time after time after time.

Russian artillery production will be sufficient to sustain the present level of bombardments in support of the advances and the Western tanks will be too little too late. They'll be chewed up like the other equipment that has been sent to the battlefields.

The end of the video mentions that the Russians are producing 3.4 million 152mmm artillery shells per year, and likely double, whereas the US is looking to "ramp up" to perhaps 1 million shells per year, going from 15k per month to 90k per month. The Russians fire about 20k per day, and the Ukrainians fire about 1 to 6k per day. The point of this is that the Russian side can just line up opposite the defensive positions of the Ukrainians and just blast the heck out of them, using invasive drones as spotters.
Also, the Western tanks are likely to be destroyed in the same way as most of the 1000 Ukrainian ones were during the course of the fighting. The Russians have said they are not concerned with any of this equipment - that will take many months to arrive, if at all.
Plus, it is unlikely there will be any serious surrender talks from Ukraine until they are completely falling apart. Peace negotiations will not work now. It'll be more like surrender and occupation. The Russians no longer trust any Western treaties since they were admittedly double crossed with the Minsk agreements that were Machiavellian in nature. Talk of tanks in the last 10 mins.

MacGregor believes the grind will continue with the final objective to cut off the Polish border when Ukrainian lines fold. He reiterates the fact that the Russians are not going to run out of anything in terms of ammunition, and the guy doing the interview acknowledges a lot of the called up Russian troops have yet to be used in the fighting.
MacGregor also mentions there is widespread support for the war in Russia. No one wants a war, but he makes the case that the Russians see the Western actions against them - sponsoring the 2014 coup and with people like George Soros talking about removing Nationalist Russia from the map because it is not party to globalist policies - as a direct threat to their existence. The Russians know these things, hence they'll fight to wipe out those that are looking to wipe them out. And countries like China, and I would argue India, support them. CO2 HOAX EXPLAINED
CO2 is a result of global warming, not the reason. This video shows how oceans are by far the biggest source of CO2, the source of life. Every time the oceans get warmer, they release CO2 but hundreds of years later than the warming itself. Now the climate is getting colder but as climate engineering was secretly causing the extreme weather around the globe, now suddenly it is offered to use it to cool of our supposedly overheated earth, which of course is already cooling down.
One correction is that the CO2 lag in the geological record is likely a lot less than 800 years. The problem is that trapped air in the ice cores migrates. There is still a lag, but it would be a lot less. One thing that is true is that over the last 2000 years temperatures have gone from a Medieval Warming Period and into a Little Ice Age while CO2 levels have remained low. In the 20th Century record shows temperature fluctuations up and then down while CO2 levels had increased. It was as if CO2 was not driving the climate at all. However, in much colder eras, like during an Ice Age, the low temperatures would likely lead to a reduction in the CO2s levels, such as we see in the ice cores.
The bottom like is that CO2 output is not going to lead to the end of the world.

Russia Offensive Zaporozhye Fast Gains, Ukraine Operational Crisis Bakhmut; German No To Tanks (Alexander Mercouris)
Ukrainian defenses in the south are now depleted because they were sent to hold the line in Bakhmut. Moreover, Ukrainian lines in general are greatly weakened. It is likely that Ukrainian forces will not hold out for much longer. However, the Russian forces may be content with slower advances because the Ukrainians will concentrate their forces to oppose them, which would then be hit by artillery - a meat grinder, or funnel, of death.

The Ukrainian army, egged on by its U.S. controllers, had put most of its resource into the static defense of the Bakhmut (Artyomovsk) - Soledar sector of the eastern front. An insane number of Ukrainian brigades, though many partially depleted, were concentrated on that 50-kilometer-long front. This left other sectors nearly empty of Ukrainian troops. The Ukrainian forces in the north and south are in the same position Russian troops had been in when the Ukrainian army last year launched a blitz attack in the Kharkiv region. The Russian screening force of some 2,000 border guards and federal police retreated and used its artillery to destroy the oncoming Ukrainian forces. The attack ran out of power and came to a halt after progressing some 70 kilometers on a rather large front. But Ukraine no longer has, unlike the Russians at that time, the artillery that is needed to stop a larger thrust.
The big Ukrainian concentration in Bakhmut is now in an operational encirclement. The Russian forces have progressed north and south of the city and their artillery can easily control the western exit roads of Bakhmut. This a Verdun like situation. Russian artillery is by far numerical superior and can slaughter the Ukrainian troops at will. Even the U.S. military is now suggesting that Ukraine should give up on that city. Should the government in Kiev agree to that it will be a retreat under fire with likely high casualties. Not retreating though will make things even worse.

US, Allies Send More Weapons to Ukraine in Absence of Real Solution (TheNewAtlas)
Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for January 20, 2023.
- BBC citing Ukrainian sources admit that Soledar is under Russian control and Bakhmut is facing encirclement;
- The West is increasing the amount of weapons sent to Ukraine including weapon systems entirely inappropriate for Ukrainian forces;
- The latest US military aid package falls far short of even sustaining Ukrainian operations and covering its losses;
- The package includes Stryker armored personnel carriers, adding yet another type of vehicle that needs a separate logistical line and training program for the APC role;
- The West is not sending this hodgepodge of equipment because it thinks it's the best option but instead because it is the only option.
The Russians have likely already destroyed 1000 Ukrainian tanks, which is why they need more from the West. Let that sink in.

Bakhmut Operationally Encircled, Russia Advance Zaporozhye; West Talks Tank Deliveries Ramstein (Alexander Mercouris)
The Russians seem to have fire control over the last approach to Bakhmut. One would expect the Ukrainians to now retreat, although losses in men and materiel don't seem to factor in their tactical decision making.
Also, the Western tanks sent to the battlefield will be problematic. If the upgraded T-64s and T-72 were turned into mince meat then Leopard 2 A4s and A5s will also be chewed up. It's not so much the equipment but the inability of the Ukraine Army to employ effective tactics against the Russians with inadequately trained troops - where they are facing off against massive amounts of artillery and drones.
One crucial point about the fighting is that there are a number of factors that give the Russians a distinct advantage. Even if the Ukrainians get a lot of the equipment they want, like artillery and tanks, without adequate drone surveillance they will face Russian artillery and tanks that DO have drone support. This allows the Russians to pick off any attacking forces. The Ukrainians have some of this, but not enough.
The well organised Russians have a huge advantage and it will take a LOT more than a patchwork of deliveries to balance things out.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson EMBARRASSED After Spreading Covid Misinformation (Jimmy Dore)
Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one of the world’s most renowned experts on the nature of the ever-expanding universe we inhabit, but what he knows about COVID vaccines could fit in the nucleus of an atom. Case in point: during a recent appearance on Patrick Bet-David’s podcast, Tyson promulgated flatly inaccurate information about vaccines and the spread of COVID and became flustered at the mildest pushback from the host. Evidence, one supposes, that not even our top scientific minds are immune to vaccine propaganda.
Jimmy and former high tech executive Steve Kirsch note how much more static COVID narrative pushers like Tyson are receiving as the system spreading misinformation and propaganda from establishment sources breaks down.
In the clip Kirsch makes a great point about the necessity of hearing from both sides of an argument rather than engaging in censorship. In this regard he is talking about top level discussion, looking at data, not where one side is fielding inept individuals that misrepresent the extent of the debate.

DnD players are still furious at WotC over the OGL 1.1 debacle, and many are announcing plans to boycott the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie, Honor Among Thieves. This is the exact OPPOSITE of what Hasbro was pushing for with OGL 1.1 as they wanted to lock down the D&D IP for movies and TV... and the movie made be DOA. Meanwhile, Hasbro stock continues to plummet. How long until investors are calling for the resignation of Cynthia Williams?
A boycott sounds like a good idea. OGL is the Open Gaming Licence. They want people to pay for creating material when it was at no charge previously.

The latest from Alexander who is doing a better job with his analysis than many military guys. A lot of analysis comes down to one's psychology in seeing how things are, as opposed to seeing things how you want, or believe, them to be. He admits he draws upon other experts that have military experience but he does so with a sceptical and largely objective eye. One other advantage he does have is a long standing interest in military matters and a great knowledge of history.
The last 12 minutes covers the incompetence of the US neocons in provoking the war and not having any real sense of what would realistically happen after hostilities began/escalated. It goes to show how degraded the US has become, being run by political wonks and corporatised crooks.
