FULL: 'Dictatorship Of One Hegemon Is Out Of Control': Lavrov DESTROYS US Policies At UNGA (NDTV World)
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addresses the UN General Assembly with a fierce warning to NATO and the US regarding the war in Ukraine.
Watch as Moscow rejects Western calls for a ceasefire and declares Western strategies a failure.
What You Need to Know:
Ukraine Conflict Escalation: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared at the UN General Assembly that Western efforts to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia have hit a dead end, asserting that Moscow will fulfill all objectives of its special military operation in Donbas and Novorossiya without pausing for negotiations.
Critique of US Foreign Policy: Lavrov condemned recent US military actions, including the intervention in Venezuela, calling for the immediate release of President Nicolas Maduro, and warned that Western strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure under IAEA safeguards threaten global security.
UN Security Council Reform: Russia officially backed permanent UN Security Council seats for India and Brazil, alongside expanded African representation under the Ezulwini Consensus, while strictly opposing permanent seats for NATO members such as Germany and Japan.
Emergence of a Multipolar Order: Highlighting the shift away from 500 years of Western dominance, Lavrov promoted the Greater Eurasian Partnership and criticized European leaders for expanding NATO influence into Asia while ignoring UN resolutions.
It always helps to listen to entire speeches of those vilified in the mainstream media to understand what's really going on vs the propaganda/spin.

Uh oh: Israel Just Built the New Petrodollar (Kim Iversen)
For a century, real power meant controlling oil — and the petrodollar locked the world into the US financial system because every factory and freighter on earth needed dollars to run. Kim breaks down what she sees replacing it: an Israeli tech-dollar built not on crude, but on the systems no modern state can live without — data, AI, cybersecurity, water. The mechanics of the dependency trap: a country can ration its way through an oil shortage, but it cannot function for a day with its grid, banks, defense radars, or government registries down. And when a nation installs Israeli cyber-intelligence frameworks, border systems, or desalination networks, it isn't buying a product — it's installing a live ecosystem that needs continuous updates, patches, and oversight from the parent nation. Forever. Where the US enforces compliance through SWIFT bans and sanctions, the tech version has its own kill switch: the standing threat that support gets suspended, or systems stop working, right when a crisis hits. And the test ground? Venezuela — where footage now shows Maduro's own vice president meeting AIPAC delegations and the IDF operating openly. Once a government's survival runs on someone else's software, alignment stops being a choice.
The Israelis are running a world wide intelligence and control operation against the rest of the world using bribery and coercion (blackmail/extortion) to get their way. The world faces three major threats, from these Zionists, corporatist globalist oligarchs, and Islamists. The way to stop this is closed borders and self sufficient countries.

Dem Senators UPSET That Trump Didn’t Annihilate Iran! w/ Max Blumenthal (Jimmy Dore)
The Grayzone’s Max Blumenthal joins Jimmy to expose the Democratic Party's neocon hypocrisy, highlighting how Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy demanded an end to Trump's Iran war, then immediately attacked Trump for negotiating a ceasefire—proving Democrats oppose war only when Trump starts it, not on principle. Max notes that the Democratic base overwhelmingly supports sanctions on Israel (with just single-digit support for Israel among Democrats), yet party leaders like Chuck Schumer are pushing CIA-backed candidates like Abigail Spanberger and Alyssa Slotkin while refusing to let a Palestinian speak at the DNC.
Max argues that the 2024 Democratic platform accused Trump of being "weak" for not attacking Iran, and Kamala Harris called Iran "America's number one foe" during debates. He concludes that until someone has the courage to stand up to the Zionist donor class—which literally built the DNC's headquarters—both parties will remain beholden to Israeli interests.
While Blumenthal's solution for the Middle East - of everyone living together peacefully in Israel-Palestine - is unrealistic, his take on the capture of the US political system is accurate.

Trump Is Sending Venezuelan Oil To CHINA!!! (Jimmy Dore)
Reports have emerged that after Washington asserted control over Venezuelan oil operations, crude exports have continued flowing to major buyers such as China. Jimmy contrasts this policy with past statements from Donald Trump suggesting the U.S. would “take” Venezuela’s oil for American benefit, arguing that the current arrangement primarily advantages global markets and corporate interests rather than U.S. citizens.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright described the oil sales as “legitimate business,” but Jimmy questions the broader geopolitical logic of selling resources to a country that the administration has described as a chief rival. He concludes that the situation reflects a pattern of extraction benefiting powerful economic actors rather than aligning with “America First” rhetoric.
Is China only a fake US enemy? It appears so. One other thing to consider is that a disruption in the oil markets will drive US inflation through higher gasoline costs.

Donald Trump's 'greatest danger' isn't being Talked About - is the US in Control or Out of Control? (GBNews)
Colonel Douglas Macgregor joins Neil Oliver to discuss how Donald Trump's foreign policy, amid his threats to invade Greenland and the capture of Nicolas Maduro, is impacting international political tensions, and the impending 'destruction' of the West's financial system.
The US creation of division with all nations around the world, through rising hostilities, should put up walls as things come crashing down economically. Macgregor predicts an economic disaster for the US, and world, in 2026.
Whether intentional or not, Trump's actions should end globalist governments in the West. If the US is hostile to Russia, China and India their nationals won't be coming into the USA. And if Europe collapses economically, then right wing Governments will come to power as welfare to migrants is cut back or stopped.

Col Douglas Macgregor: This Time We're in A LOT of TROUBLE (Daniel Davis)
Col Douglas Macgregor argues that the U.S. has lost its fear of real war and is dangerously underestimating the consequences of its actions, particularly in Venezuela. They contend that removing top leaders did not produce real regime change, and that any serious attempt to reshape Venezuela would require a ground invasion—described as a costly, unwinnable “tar pit” that would change little while draining resources.
They are skeptical of claims that controlling Venezuelan oil would bring strategic or financial success, noting past failures in Iraq and Venezuela’s history of nationalization. The discussion suggests U.S. taxpayers would ultimately subsidize oil companies, with little chance of meaningful return and no concern for the Venezuelan population. Security risks are emphasized: Venezuela is large, heavily armed at the local level, and hostile terrain where infrastructure would be highly vulnerable to sabotage.
The conversation broadens to global consequences, warning that U.S. pressure could trigger wider conflict with powerful alliances it cannot defeat. Russia is highlighted as already framing U.S. actions as lawless aggression, with Russian leaders signaling readiness to respond. The speakers stress that Russia—depicted as more socially cohesive and capable of asymmetric retaliation—would not respond on U.S. terms, increasing the risk of escalation into a broader, unpredictable war.
By acting like a bandit nation the rest of the world should put up walls, with divisions that will split the BRICS countries, Europe and the USA, into separate blocs. This should end the globalist open borders system, where Europe and the USA are also likely to be at odds with each other over free speech and their mass migration policies. Whether this is intentional or not, the war drums being banged here will make global divisions more likely, which is needed to stop the globalist agenda.
Of course the big danger in all of this is the potential for more wars outside of Ukraine - such as one over Taiwan. However, it's because of the ongoing Ukraine war, and sanctions vs allies of Russia, plus US control of Venezuelan oil, that's causing the global divisions. The longer things play out, and as other major powers become become more hostile, the more likely the globalist system will fail.
What we are seeing is the neocon war agenda (trying push US-Israeli domination) that is undermining the globalists who benefit more from a stable global situation, where they can funnel people from the third world into the West. The sorts of divisions now being created will stop the transfer of people out of China and India. A follow up economic collapse in Europe will help stem the flow of non-Europeans into Europe as their welfare systems fail.

Moscow Strikes US Assets In Ukraine; Warns Will Protect Its Ships; Calls Starmer Macron Axis Of War (Alexander Mercouris)

46:00 - Overview of U.S. sanctions and their potential impacts
60:00 - Discussion on the U.S. approach to Venezuela's oil resources
1:29:25 - Conclusion and closing remarks on the geopolitical landscape
A most interesting point made at the end of the video is that the US looks like it's prepared to put sanctions on major countries taking Russian oil, including India, China and Brazil, which will turn them all hostile. If relations really do go sour it will help dismantle the globalist system.
With India and China being allied to Russia, and hostile to the USA, there won't be mass migration of their citizens into the US, or perhaps, other (anti-Russian) Western countries.
When it comes to stopping the open borders globalism in Europe, coming from North Africa and the Middle East, something might happen via economic collapse, with Martial Law imposed - which may also bring in right leaning Nationalist political parties.
All these developments can be rapidly brought about via US foreign and economic policy. The key thing is to prevent the globalists, operating in their jurisdictions, from imposing left wing authoritarian Governments. In such a messy situation Russia will be fine since it is already isolated, and the other major countries would simply be disconnected, or blocked, when it comes to globalist trade and mass migration. These BRICS countries can certainly trade among themselves, but none of them are operating in the disastrous way that Western countries have, through policies of deindustrialisation and mass migration.
The adjustment period would certainly be chaotic but Western countries do have the capability to become largely self sufficient once again, and not so dependent on globalist trade (that is only a recent development). Whether intentional or not, the push towards hostility on the global stage may bring down the present globalist structure.

U.S. Seizure of Russian-Flagged Oil Tanker a DANGEROUS ESCALATION – Col. Macgregor (Rachel Blevins)
The U.S. military has seized the Russian-flagged oil tanker ‘Marinera’ in the North Atlantic, after a weeks-long pursuit from the Caribbean. They claim the vessel was “in violation of US sanctions,” with ties to Venezuela.
This, as U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright is declaring that Washington plans to control the sale of Venezuelan oil “indefinitely,” and President Trump seems to think he is in charge of the government in Caracas.
Ret. U.S. Army Col. Douglas Macgregor noted that the seizure of the ‘Marinera’ is a dangerous escalation, not only with Venezuela, but with Russia, as Russian nationals are believed to be among the crew of the vessel. The precedent set by this act of piracy won’t be forgotten…
The seizing of an empty oil tanker is not going to start WW3 but it will annoy the Russians and reinforces the idea that the US can't be trusted. What's going on will encourage both China and India to move away from the US (as oil supplies from Venezuela may remain cut). These divisions are actually a good thing to end the globalist world order. Every country should be as self sufficient as possible, with closed borders. Countries that are hostile to each other end up having closed borders.

Marco Rubio CAN’T WAIT To Overthrow Cuba Next! w/ Max Blumenthal (The Jimmy Dore Show)
Senator Marco Rubio is likely the central architect behind current U.S.-backed regime-change efforts in Venezuela and beyond, driven by his long-standing ideological goal of dismantling left-wing governments in Latin America, especially Cuba.
Guest host Russell Dobular and The Grayzone’s Max Blumenthal portray Rubio as leveraging Donald Trump’s presidency to achieve a legacy he cannot secure on his own, and framing Cuba as the ultimate prize with Venezuela as a stepping stone.
The two claim Rubio’s influence is reinforced by powerful financial backers with direct economic interests in Venezuelan assets and a broader network of neoconservative think tanks. Overall, the segment frames U.S. policy toward Latin America as being shaped by a narrow South Florida exile lobby, profit motives, and personal legacy ambitions rather than genuine U.S. national interests.
Neocons behind the scenes again, along with the corporatists.

Here’s Trump Admin’s INSANE Charges Against Venezuela’s Maduro! w/ Max Blumenthal (The Jimmy Dore Show)
In this segment, Guest hosts Russell Dobular and Max Blumenthal of The Grayzone discuss the U.S. indictment against Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, and argue that the charges are a politically motivated fabrication built on vague allegations, retroactive terrorism designations, and testimony from coerced witnesses seeking reduced sentences.
Max says the charges, which range from narco-terrorism to 1934-era firearms violations, lack jurisdictional legitimacy under international law and are designed to justify U.S. regime-change policy rather than prosecute real crimes. Central to the case is former Venezuelan intelligence chief Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal, portrayed as a compromised informant willing to say anything to avoid decades in prison, including claims aligning with Trump-era political narratives.
The two conclude that the trial is a test of whether the U.S. can override head-of-state immunity and international law to legitimize coercive foreign policy against Venezuela, and quite possibly other sovereign nations.

What the hell happened when the US kidnapped Maduro? (The Greyzone)
The Grayzone's Max Blumenthal and Anya Parampil discuss various theories about the US raid on Caracas and abduction of Venezuelan President Maduro the day after it took place.
A level of inside help allowed the US to pull off this raid with very few casualties. Some sort of backroom deal seems to have been done with members of the Venezuelan Government.

Mainstream Media Spreading FAKE AI VIDEOS From Venezuela! w/ Max Blumenthal (The Jimmy Dore Show)
Following the US military assault on Venezuela and kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro, many prominent social media personalities published AI-generated videos falsely depicting mass celebrations, demonstrating how fake media is being weaponized to advance U.S. war propaganda and regime-change narratives.
Guest host Russell Dobular and Max Blumenthal of The Grayzone explain that Venezuelan public opinion toward Nicolás Maduro is deeply polarized, with a significant Chavista base supporting a nationalist movement for resource sovereignty, while middle- and upper-class opposition—often abroad—backs U.S.-led regime change.
The two argue that economic hardship and migration were driven primarily by U.S. sanctions, not socialism, and that these sanctions are then cynically blamed for the very crises they created. The discussion places Venezuela in a broader regional context, warning that Donald Trump’s threats against leaders like Gustavo Petro in Colombia and Claudia Sheinbaum in Mexico reflect an escalating doctrine of U.S. intimidation across Latin America.
A good explanation of the complexity of the situation.

Cloud of Confusion; PSYOP, oil, and Coup (The Duran)
The Duran guys reporting that the operation involved complicity from elements inside Venezuela. Without this cooperation the raid would have been a more bloody affair. Maduro's bodyguards were apparently Cubans, and all were killed during the op. Those who have taken charge in Venezuela likely wanted Maduro gone, and are prepared to do deals with the US over their oil, which was the real objective of this action (although Maduro was also prepared to deal). A very interesting insight into what likely happened - a coup of sorts.

Why Trump Really Took Over Venezuela and What Countries Are Next On The List (Mark Dice)
2026 started with Trump authorizing military strikes in Venezuela, extracting dictator Nicholas Maduro, and bringing him to New York for trial. The move has split MAGA between America First supporters and those opposed to regime change. Unlike the Bush-era lies about spreading democracy in Iraq, Trump openly admits the goal is taking Venezuela's oil and stopping them from selling it to China. Marco Rubio confirms the real target is cutting off China's largest oil supplier, not just helping Venezuelans or stopping fentanyl (which comes through Mexico anyway). The Monroe Doctrine provides cover for interventions in the Western Hemisphere, making this different from Middle East wars fought for Israel. Trump hints Mexico could be next for kinetic strikes against the cartels flooding America with drugs and illegal immigrants. Cuba is also in the crosshairs now that Venezuelan oil money has dried up, with Lindsey Graham barely containing his excitement about toppling another communist regime. Greenland remains a priority for national security against Russian and Chinese ships, not for minerals. Trump's already threatening Colombia over cocaine production. Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene are among those speaking out against the regime change operations, with Greene resigning from Congress entirely after clashing with Trump.

MTG Calls Out Pro-Israel Push for Regime Change in Venezuela! (Jimmy Dore)
On December 22 Marjorie Taylor Greene posted online about Venezuela, arguing that U.S. hostility toward the Maduro government is less about drugs or democracy and more about regime change, natural resources, and foreign policy alignment with Israel. Jimmy dismisses claims that Venezuela is responsible for fentanyl trafficking or U.S. election interference, calling them recycled propaganda used to justify intervention, while noting historical CIA involvement in drug trafficking in the region.
He also contrasts Greene’s anti-intervention stance with figures like JD Vance and Donald Trump, who support military action, and highlights comments from U.S. General Laura Richardson openly citing lithium, oil, water, and other resources as strategic motives. His core argument is that Venezuela policy reflects long-standing U.S. imperial interests rather than public will, and that politicians who acknowledge this reality, like Greene or Rand Paul, are marginalized within mainstream politics.
Venezuela was clearly in the Russia-China-Iran sphere, making them an enemy of the neocons and they're also resource rich.

The Rules-Based Order Has No Clothes (Sargon)
This was a long time coming.
Sargon talking about the realpolitik aspect to what happened in Venezuela. His views are heavily Western centric while coming down hard on the socialist rule of Maduro. However, he's wrong to compare what happened in Venezuela with Ukraine. Russia stepped in to protect the breakaway areas of Ukraine that were already being heavily attacked by Kiev. In the case of Venezuela there was no military action being taken against US interests beforehand. It's not the same.
Also, his implicit argument about the oil wealth helping the people of Venezuela is wrong too. If the US takes over production the profits will go to the corporations not the people. The only good thing that will happen is that sanctions will be lifted, which is perhaps the primary driver of their shrinking economy, along with socialist mismanagement. Sargon seems to be ignoring the impact of US sanctions and pinning everything on the socialist authoritarian Government.
Sargon is 100 percent correct about the US being unhappy that Venezuela sold oil to enemies of the US establishment, which is accurate in regard to his realpolitik line of thinking. He's correct about the fact that Trump is playing a map game in getting assets to boost US (corporate) economic interests, taking over things through force and/or bombast.
At the end of the day borders are still important. There are consequences for disrespecting them. The bigger hidden problem is that what's playing out is more of the same neocon regime change strategy that destabilised much of the Middle East and North African. It led to the mass migration of people into Europe that was further facilitated by dumb (globalist) open borders policies.
Sargon should go back and think about the importance of the Treaty of Westphalia that helped bring an end to the Thirty Years War in Europe (1618-1648). If the US and Russia were not at war with each other in Ukraine both countries could have worked together to unwind the authoritarianism seen in many countries of the world - by helping them economically. Countries that become wealthy, and have a growing middle class, tend to become more moderate where the people end up kicking out the authoritarians. This is what's happening in Iran today. Ordinary people will only put up with so much hardcore oppression before they act.
A fundamental truth is that the power of extremists, or oppressors, who are often few in number, always tends to wane over time. Interventionism, that more often causes the opposite of what was intended/marketed, is generally not needed for real reform to come about.
