A New Study Claims the Great Pyramid Is 23,000 Years Old (Michael Button)

A new scientific paper claims the Great Pyramid could be around 20,000 years older than we thought.

If its dating method is right, it would completely rewrite the history of Ancient Egypt and human civilization. But does the evidence actually hold up?

In this video, we investigate the extraordinary claim, the science behind it, and what would need to happen for archaeology to take it seriously...

The dating comes from erosion seen on the stone, whereas there is carbon dating, from mortar (repair work?), putting it a few hundred years older than the officially accepted date. If the carbon dates are correct then there must be a problem with the erosion technique. Michael explains that the paper shows a scattering of dates ranging from near 6000  years ago up to 54,000 years ago. As things stand the 23,000 year claim is not credible without further work.

Underground Chamber Detected and New Excavations 2026 | Megalithomania

A newly detected underground chamber is going to be excavated at Karahan Tepe any day now. Göbekli Tepe is also now under excavation and already new structures are being uncovered. Yoğunbuç is another site in the region which has just begun excavation. In this podcast we'll look at the full story of what is going on in this area of southeast Turkiye in 2026 and analyse what might be found under the ground at Karahan Tepe in relation to other sites we have investigated.

Talking The Big Picture - Where Does the Evidence Take Us? UnchartedX Podcast!

A discussion with my good friends Kyle and Russ Allen of the Brothers of the Serpent Podcast. One that I wanted to have for some time - we get into the 'big picture' around what all the individual threads and vectors of evidence mean. How do we tie all of this together?

We also get into the Sahara, updates on the vase scan project, and talk about our recent visit into the largest tomb in the valley of the Kings - and one that is not open to the public - KV5, the tomb of the sons of Ramses II, with hundreds of subterranean chambers and passages.

Göbekli Tepe: NEW EXCAVATIONS Begin Under the Former Olive Trees (Ancient Architects)

New excavations have begun at the world-famous pre-pottery Neolithic site of Göbekli Tepe, In an patch of land directly north of the famous oval buildings, yes the land previously covered by the controversial olive trees.

According to the excavation director, Dr Necmi Karul, archaeologists began working on an area of roughly 1,500 square metres, and almost immediately, the remains of buildings were discovered at shallow depths.

Watch this video to learn more about the new excavations currently underway at Göbekli Tepe as well as what we should expect. Furthermore, excavations have also started at Yogunburç, another Pre-Pottery Neolithic Taş Tepeler site near Sanliurfa, Turkey.

Something Is Very Strange About Human Civilization (Michael Button)

For almost 300,000 years, humans built no cities. Then, within a tiny window of our history, civilizations began appearing independently across the world.

Why did humanity wait so long? And why did it suddenly happen in so many different places?

In this video, we explore one of archaeology’s biggest unanswered questions: what actually caused civilization to begin?

Did humans build civilisations during the Ice Age, or earlier, that vanished from the pages of history? While the video asks why farming did not appear before modern times there may have been a different form of food production at work that heavily involved fishing and fruit gathering, or something like that, that allowed human civilisation to flourish. The ending of the Ice Age would wipe out most traces of such societies.

Everyone Was Wrong About Easter Island (Michael Button)

For decades, Easter Island has been held up as the ultimate warning about environmental collapse: a civilisation that destroyed itself by cutting down every tree to build giant statues.

But what if that story isn't true?

New archaeological discoveries, ancient DNA, satellite mapping and climate research are rewriting one of history's most famous cautionary tales. This is the real story of Easter Island, and what actually happened to the people of Rapa Nui...

The video argues that the evidence shows the people of Easter Island did not destroy themselves but were destroyed by contact with the outside world - disease and slaving. The lack of trees on the island came down to an earlier rat infestation, that ate palm tree seeds. The lack of trees would have stopped boat building and meant there were isolated.

LiDAR Reveals up to 30,000 Structures of a LOST Civilization (Ancient Architects)

LiDAR technology has revolutionised archaeology in South America, parts of the world that are hard to explore by conventional methods due to the dense amazon rainforest. But LiDAR allows us to see through the dense jungle to see what, if any, human structures are hiding below.

In recent years thousands of new structures have come to light and this week, thanks to a new study published in Nature, linked below, hundreds more have been discovered, with an estimated total of up to 30,000 earthworks hiding beneath the trees – yes 30,000!

A vast network of geometric earthworks suggests that southwestern Amazonia once supported a highly organised society numbering as many as three million people. Watch this video to learn more about this incredible find!

This Could Be the Greatest Mystery in Human History (Michael Button)

For almost all of history, we weren't alone.

Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo erectus, Homo floresiensis and others all shared the world with us. They made tools, buried their dead, created art, cared for the sick and even interbred with our own species.

So if they were so similar to us... why are we the only humans left?

Homo Sapiens may have co-mingled with these other species and/or killed them off if they were noticeably different. Different human tribes have warred against each other for eons while, at the same time, there has been trade between different groups. But if these other groups had some radical behavioural feature, or morphological difference, they would have certainly been subjected to warfare from Homo Sapiens. Consider today's human populations with distinct groupings of Asians, Africans, Arabs, and Europeans, separated by difficult-to-traverse terrain rather than these groups living side by side. And within each racial group there are further divisions that has led to internal warring. This does not bode well for the peaceful co-mingling hypothesis.

This Discovery in the Arabian Desert Changes Everything (Michael Button)

For generations, we pictured the Arabian Peninsula as an empty sea of sand.

But new archaeological discoveries are revealing a completely different world. Hidden beneath today's deserts are enormous stone monuments, ancient settlements, and evidence that Arabia was once green, thriving, and home to remarkable societies.

In this video, we explore the astonishing discoveries of the mustatils, the fortified oasis settlement of Al-Natah, and the growing evidence that one of history's greatest forgotten landscapes has been hiding in plain sight...

Oldest Amber Ever Found Rewrites What We Know About Plant Evolution (Anton Petrov)

Plant resin developed a lot earlier than previously thought, which is what Amber comes from. One thing you should note from this video is that Anton mentions we know what the atmosphere was like hundreds of millions of years ago from trapped bubbles of air inside the Amber. He reports that the CO2 level in the samples discussed was double what it is today. Climate change propagandists claim that high CO2 levels will cause the oceans to become slightly acidic and kill sea life, and yet the fossil record shows no sign of this during these eras. The ocean acidification claim is a transparent lie, and is not based on anything real. Its purpose is to get people to agree to whatever the globalists want - to turn you into an impoverished slave in order to 'save the planet'.

Time Stamps:

1:10 What is amber and how does it form?
4:00 Why was this ability evolved?
4:50 New discovery from Devonian
6:10 What happened on Earth back then?

10:40 Why amber is important for science

14,500-Year-Old HUGE, Decorated Prehistoric Building + Major Natufian Settlement! (Ancient Architects)

Karahan Tepe is one of the most mind-blowing sites of the ancient world, with origins dating back to around 11,400 years ago.

The size and scale of the settlement is impressive, but the architectural feats are what really excite the imagination. They are incredible – intricate, carefully planned and well-made. They were built by people who knew exactly what they were doing.

But how did they know how to do it?

It looks like they had a well-planned, well-developed, tried and tested method of construction, and obviously it worked, because we know the building was in use for many generations, and the key structural elements still survive today, thousands of years later.

Some claim the enclosures appeared almost as if by magic, with the people of ancient Anatolia transitioning from primitive hunter-gatherers to gifted engineers and builders, almost overnight. It like more advanced people came to teach the primitive people how to do it.

But as I’ve showed over the past few years on this channel, there was no giant leap in knowledge, and there are many pre-cursor sites all over the Fertile Crescent and beyond.

Wadi Hammeh 27 is one such site. It dates back to 14,500 years ago, meaning it's 3,000 years older than Karahan Tepe and Gobekli Tepe. Experts believed it was a kind of base camp to the ancient Natufian people, a forerunner of the sedentary settlements we find in the Pre-Pottery Neolithic.

In this video, I'm going to take a look at Structure 2 in Wadi Hammeh 27, and compare it to Structure AD of Karahan Tepe, to hopefully show how people already had the skills, technology and knowhow to build complex structures, thousands of years before Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe.

It's likely that the development of human civilisation was lopsided, with some cultures leaping ahead of other groups, and then disappearing. In relation to Karahan Tepe and Gobekli Tepe, it does look like there were at least two major phases of building, or occupation, with the pillars coming first followed by the rough stone wall phase. This channel is correct to point out that there were many precursor settlements to Karahan Tepe and Gobekli Tepe. Which ones made great leaps forward when it came to creating megalithic structures? They had thousands of years to do so.

23,000-Year-Old Settlement & Earliest Cultivation: Ohalo II | Ancient Architects

There’s an archaeological site in Northern Israel, situated on the southwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee and it’s one of the most fascinating and important ancient sites that hardly anyone has ever heard of.

It’s one of the best-preserved hunter-gatherer sites of the Last Glacial Maximum, yes, we’re talking about a site 23,000 years old.

It’s called Ohalo II, and it wasn’t a mere seasonal camp, it was a permanent settlement, occupied throughout the year – and for many generations, which, in the current state of knowledge, is somewhat unique for a site so old.

But it’s what was discovered at the site that makes it so incredible. It contains two things that today, with the current level of research, can be called the ‘world’s oldest’.

Firstly, it has the world’s oldest brush dwellings, but also, and most importantly, it contains evidence of the world’s oldest small-scale plant cultivation, some 11,000 years before the onset of agriculture in the Fertile Crescent.

Watch this video to learn more about Ohalo II, a settlement 11,000 years older than Göbekli Tepe, and the evidence for ice age farming - and planting the seeds of civilization

Scientists Just Broke the Human Timeline (Michael Button)

For most of the twentieth century, scientists believed sophisticated human intelligence emerged around 50,000 years ago.

Today, that timeline has been pushed back over a million years.

From ancient sea crossings and symbolic art to the oldest wooden structure ever discovered, a series of remarkable archaeological finds has quietly transformed our understanding of what early humans were capable of. Yet almost nobody has stopped to consider what these discoveries mean when viewed together...

Archaeologists Found Something Strange in India (Michael Button)

The Barabar Caves are among the most extraordinary ancient structures ever discovered.

Carved from solid granite over 2,200 years ago, their mirror-like interiors remain one of archaeology's greatest mysteries.

How were they made, why were they built, and could we be missing something important about the ancient world?

The shelter has comparable features to what's been seen in early dynastic Egypt - with forms that are very hard to explain considering the tools they had at the time.

Ancient Machining: Experts, Evidence and the Full Process from Quarrying to Polished Stone! (UnchartedX)

A full-length documentary looking into the evidence for ancient machining, centered around a remarkable granite slab found on the rarely visited Ancient Egyptian pyramid site of Abu Rawash. We explore the context and history of the ancient, igneous masonry on these sites with witness marks that don't match anything in the known dynastic ancient Egyptian toolbox.

Following expert testimony and analysis from precision machining experts and manufacturing engineers, the only reasonable conclusion is that advanced machining processes were in use at Abu Rawash, as well as on other Ancient Egyptian sites, at some point in the distant past
.

A very important point to consider, right at the start of this long video, is that the large pyramid at Abu Rawash was used as a quarry for many hundreds of years. Today there is not much of it left. It was only in very recent times that the worth of these sites as been recognised so that they are now preserved. Of course the most pressing issue raised in this presentation is the evidence of advanced machining seen on some of the surviving stonework. This is not something that can easily be disputed when looking at the distinctive marks on the stone blocks.

Why Is No One Talking About This Sahara Discovery? (Michael Button)

A thousand years before Stonehenge, people in the Egyptian Sahara were building stone circles, burying cattle in ceremonial tombs, and possibly tracking the stars.

Nabta Playa is one of the most extraordinary prehistoric sites ever discovered, forcing archaeologists to rethink where some of humanity's earliest astronomy, ritual, and complex societies first emerged.

So let's explore the mystery of Nabta Playa, what was discovered beneath the Sahara, and why this forgotten monument may have changed the course of human history...

Michael Button arguing for a very rich human prehistory that has been lost.

This Civilization Is A Huge Problem For Historians (Michael Button)

The Indus Valley Civilization was one of the largest and most advanced civilizations on Earth.

It built vast cities, developed a writing system nobody can read, traded across the ancient world, and then seemingly vanished.

To this day, historians still can't fully explain how a civilization this sophisticated disappeared from history.

What happened to the Indus Valley?

We Finally Know What Killed the Maya (Michael Button)

For centuries, the collapse of the Maya has been one of history's greatest mysteries. How could one of the world's most advanced civilizations abandon its great cities and seemingly vanish?

Today, new archaeological discoveries are revealing a far more complex story. From drought and warfare to environmental stress and political collapse, we may finally be closer to understanding what really happened to the Maya...and what their fate can teach us about civilization itself.

The answer is not what most people think
.

A high density population, lack of rain, aided by massive deforestation, plus geopolitical rivalry (local conflict), led to escalating problems and then societal collapse. Complex societies tend to become more fragile as the majority of the population depend on the work of limited numbers of food producers. If that part of the system is disrupted then tensions rise, and collapse happens.

12 Ancient Structures in Australia No One Can Explain (Loving Wallaby)

12 Ancient Structures in Australia No One Can Explain explores some of the most mysterious and debated sites across Australia. From ancient stone arrangements to strange carvings and unexplained formations, these places continue to puzzle researchers and visitors alike.

Better visuals to match the dialog would help this video, but at least the content provides information for follow up research. You basically have to do follow up work yourself to confirm or deny what is being claimed. However, when you consider the the material put out by Michael Button's channel, about homo sapiens having a much longer history than previously thought, then the possibility of non-aboriginal people coming to Australia at times in the distance past becomes more probable.
