Why Democracy Now sucks (TheGreyZone)

The Grayzone’s Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate are joined by activist and comedian Randy Credico to discuss the pathetic state of Democracy Now, once a beacon of antiwar journalism and now a reliable fount of regime change propaganda that sandbagged Julian Assange when he was fighting for his freedom against the CIA.



Democracy Now comes across controlled opposition. They banned people like Professor Stephen Cohen (a Russia expert) and journalist John Pilger. They uncritically pushed Syrian War lies, the Russiagate lies, and propaganda about the the war in Ukraine, when other independent left leaning media, like The Grey Zone, exposed these things for what they were.

This does not look like a simple mistake from stupid people at Democracy Now, but more likely deliberate lying from people who are either blackmailed or heavily bribed. Not all Alternative Media is the same. All of them have some issues with their range of reporting, some much worse than others, so that you can label the worst as being on the wrong side of history.
