On December 22 Marjorie Taylor Greene posted online about Venezuela, arguing that U.S. hostility toward the Maduro government is less about drugs or democracy and more about regime change, natural resources, and foreign policy alignment with Israel. Jimmy dismisses claims that Venezuela is responsible for fentanyl trafficking or U.S. election interference, calling them recycled propaganda used to justify intervention, while noting historical CIA involvement in drug trafficking in the region.

He also contrasts Greene’s anti-intervention stance with figures like JD Vance and Donald Trump, who support military action, and highlights comments from U.S. General Laura Richardson openly citing lithium, oil, water, and other resources as strategic motives. His core argument is that Venezuela policy reflects long-standing U.S. imperial interests rather than public will, and that politicians who acknowledge this reality, like Greene or Rand Paul, are marginalized within mainstream politics.



Venezuela was clearly in the Russia-China-Iran sphere, making them an enemy of the neocons and they're also resource rich.

The Rules-Based Order Has No Clothes (Sargon)

This was a long time coming.



Sargon talking about the realpolitik aspect to what happened in Venezuela. His views are heavily Western centric while coming down hard on the socialist rule of Maduro. However, he's wrong to compare what happened in Venezuela with Ukraine. Russia stepped in to protect the breakaway areas of Ukraine that were already being heavily attacked by Kiev. In the case of Venezuela there was no military action being taken against US interests beforehand. It's not the same.  

Also, his implicit argument about the oil wealth helping the people of Venezuela is wrong too. If the US takes over production the profits will go to the corporations not the people. The only good thing that will happen is that sanctions will be lifted, which is perhaps the primary driver of their shrinking economy, along with socialist mismanagement. Sargon seems to be ignoring the impact of US sanctions and pinning everything on the socialist authoritarian Government.

Sargon is 100 percent correct about the US being unhappy that Venezuela sold oil to enemies of the US establishment, which is accurate in regard to his realpolitik line of thinking. He's correct about the fact that Trump is playing a map game in getting assets to boost US (corporate) economic interests, taking over things through force and/or bombast. 

At the end of the day borders are still important. There are consequences for disrespecting them. The bigger hidden problem is that what's playing out is more of the same neocon regime change strategy that destabilised much of the Middle East and North African. It led to the mass migration of people into Europe that was further facilitated by dumb (globalist) open borders policies.

Sargon should go back and think about the importance of the Treaty of Westphalia that helped bring an end to the Thirty Years War in Europe (1618-1648). If the US and Russia were not at war with each other in Ukraine both countries could have worked together to unwind the authoritarianism seen in many countries of the world - by helping them economically. Countries that become wealthy, and have a growing middle class, tend to become more moderate where the people end up kicking out the authoritarians. This is what's happening in Iran today. Ordinary people will only put up with so much hardcore oppression before they act.

A fundamental truth is that the power of extremists, or oppressors, who are often few in number, always tends to wane over time. Interventionism, that more often causes the opposite of what was intended/marketed, is generally not needed for real reform to come about.

Following a series of US airstrikes on Venezuela military facilities, Delta Force operators stormed into President Maduro's residence in Caracas, and after a daring raid, captured him alive.



The fact that the Venezuelan Armed Forces did not respond AT ALL indicates they stood down, likely bribed by CIA operatives. By standing down they simply let the US Special Forces teams come in and snatch President Maduro. They gave him up. This is similar to what happened in Syria, with the stand down of their military, except that Assad managed to escape.

The leaders of Somaliland deny such claims. Dore also thinks that the Israelis want to send the Palestinians to that region, but this seems unlikely, and the Somaliland leaders deny this too. 

Whatever is really going on, the involvement of the Deep State seems certain.

Venezuela Regime Change (TheDuran)

Livestream covering the US attack/raid on Venezuela, from TheDuran. They're reporting that the Venezuelan military looks like they handed over President Maduro to US Special Forces, likely after they were bribed. The same thing happened in Syria.

It doesn't look like US troops will be occupying the country. What will happen now is the installation of a US friendly head of state where it's likely oil revenue will be shared with US corporations. Getting Maduro seems more like some sort of PR victory at this stage where the Government may still continue to function, except that they'd need to strike some sort of pro-US economic deal. The 'drug boat crisis' seemed more like theatre than a real threat compared to the influx of drugs coming in from Mexico and Columbia (that the US has not attacked).

Please note: The attacks here are unquestionably illegal actions, but no country will be able to hold the US to account.

The clip asks whether the Venezuelan military handed over President Maduro to US Special Forces at the beginning of the attack? If a similar plan to what happened in Syria was followed then the military leaders of the country could have been paid off to stand down and hand over Maduro. 

The biggest question is whether US forces will occupy Venezuela which could end in a quagmire. If some sort of deal is made, with a replacement head of State, then this might not happen. 

Nevertheless, attacking a country in this manner is a war crime. The US and Venezuela were not at war. This is an unprovoked attack. The situation here is different to what happened in Ukraine where the US backed Government in Kiev shelled and attacked areas of the East that refused to recognise the Western backed Government after the 2014 coup.

Massive Rug Pull To Crush Australian Housing Market | 2026 Warning (Biko Konstantinos)

Australia's housing market went berserk in 2025 - record highs obliterated, investors shocked with how much profits they’ve made, and the entire country convinced 2026 will deliver even more easy money. But a brutal shift is already ripping through the markets, completely off most people's radar. 2026 could see the mother of all rug pulls, leading to billions of lost equity, forced sales, and house prices finally smashed lower.



A rise in interest rates should tank the housing market. The biggest problem is that house prices have increased due to mass migration. If migrant visas are cancelled, leading to mass deportations, then houses will become more affordable as demand will lesson. Interest rates won't need to rise. However, Australian Government debt has gone out of control causing bond market yields to rise, which translates to higher interest rates no matter what else happens with the economy.
