ISIS flags flowing Syria after US-backed rampage (TheGreyzone)

The Grayzone's Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate explain how the military assault by the new Syrian government of former Al Qaeda leader Ahmad Al-Sharaa has opened the door for a resurgence of ISIS after removing the Kurdish SDF from the country's strategically significant northeast region.

They point out that the military campaign was approved by the Trump administration, which has embraced Al-Sharaa even as it demonizes what it calls "radical Islam."

As predicted many years ago the Kurds are being thrown under the bus after siding with the US and Israel, rather than siding with Assad's Government. The plan for the neocons is to make all Middle Eastern countries complete basket cases where different ethnic factions massacre each other to depopulate the region. The next step after the extremists have taken over Syria is to move them to Iraq and then have them target Iran. Other near term targets are Lebanon and Egypt.
