Israelis Continue To Show Just How Psychotic They Are (Kim Iversen)

West Bank stories getting almost no Western coverage. First, testimony from an American doctor, interviewed by Katie Halper, recounting what he says he witnessed at a mass grave in Gaza — including two children buried alive by soldiers with a bulldozer. Then the footage: dozens of masked settlers descending on a village in Masafer Yatta in the middle of the night — smashing the mosque's windows and trying to burn it, torching cars, hurling gasoline through a window where a child slept, stoning a pregnant woman, destroying the village's only yogurt factory (its main employer of women) — and spraying "revenge" on the wall on their way out. A villager describes watching it unfold, certain he'd be next. Finally, Kim reads a settler's own viral manifesto: leaving his "luxurious penthouse," obtaining weapons licenses, and moving his family onto an isolated farm beside a Palestinian village for one stated purpose — to make a Palestinian state impossible — vowing to "live by the sword." Kim's response: flip it around. If armed foreign squatters seized empty land in Texas claiming historic rights, they'd be jailed or deported — so why does Washington fund it here? Her conclusion: this is what the money is buying, and Americans deserve to see it.
