Peter Ridd wins Fred Seitz Award (Reef Rebels)

Short 10 min video from Dr Ridd who is an expert on the Great Barrier Reef. He was kicked out of his academic position for pointing out that the data did not support claims that the Reef was in trouble. Other academics have come to the same conclusion too, and it was by demonstrating this truth via real world observations and broader data sets, not by making any claim to authority. If you are biased toward authority over analyses of data you are not thinking rationally.
