They Found Precision Vases in 14,500-Year-Old Burials | ‪@UnchartedX‬ Cosmic Summit 2025 Classroom (Cosmic Summit)

At Cosmic Summit 2025, Ben van Kerkwyk ‪@UnchartedX‬ led a three-hour class on ancient Egypt. The central idea is what Ben calls the "Tale of Two Industries" - two completely different levels of technology existing side by side in the Egyptian archaeological record.

He walks through statues with measured symmetry down to thousandths of an inch, granite boxes with mirror-finish surfaces, single-piece columns nobody after the Old Kingdom could replicate, 1000-ton objects transported hundreds of kilometers upriver, and stone vases so precise they outperform modern machine-made equivalents.

He also covers Gobekli Tepe and the expanding Tas Tepeler civilization, Baalbek, new 3D scanning data, the inverse progression problem, and why the vases may be the most important artifacts in this debate
