Russia Displays Oreshnik, Plans 2026 Odessa Operation; NYT Confirms US Was Behind Kiev Drone Strikes (Alexander Mercouris)

Total victory by Russia, and Ukrainian demilitarisation, is the only viable way that the war will end without the prospect of renewed fighting in the near future. The Russian Army will need to take all of the eastern end of Ukraine, northern territories, and Odessa in the south, and incorporate these into Russia, as a buffer zone, for starters. 

Ukraine is holding out in the hope of direct US or European intervention, but this won't happen, and this is despite the New York Times admitting that the CIA is helping Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian infrastructure and shipping.
