A Civilization May Have Been Destroyed Before Us (Michael Button)

We Almost Went Extinct… And Hardly Anyone Knows.

Human history has emerged from cataclysm and catastrophe. For most of our existence, humanity has lived on a planet that was anything but gentle.

THIS IS A RE-UP - (the algo killed it last time)

And in that time there have been countless natural disasters and cataclysms powerful enough to erase entire human cultures without leaving a single trace.

Now while most of these events weren’t powerful enough to wipe out our entire species, they didn’t have to be. A localised human culture could vanish in a single event — a comet impact, a super volcano, a climate shift - erased so completely that the planet forgets they ever existed.

But what does this mean for us?
