Col. Macgregor: Putin Gives Trump a REALITY CHECK on Tomahawks for Ukraine (Rachel Blevins)

President Trump spoke on the phone with Russian President Putin for over two hours on Thursday, and he described it was a “productive” conversation, where they made plans for an upcoming summit in Budapest.

The Kremlin noted that the issue of the U.S. supplying long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kiev was raised during the call, and that Putin emphasized the fact that the weapons would not change the situation on the battlefield, but would destroy the progress the U.S. and Russia have made this year.

Ret. U.S. Army Col. Douglas Macgregor noted that if Trump does approve Tomahawks for the war against Russia, Moscow would rightfully see it as “an act of war,” due to the constant involvement from the U.S. Military that is required in each attack. And Russia would respond accordingly.

Good interview with Macgregor covering Ukraine, Venezuela and Iran. The Tomahawk missiles are not a good thing but they won't make any difference when it comes to the final outcome in Ukraine. The US can't send too many, and almost all will be shot down.

Macgregor points out that the neocons pushing for all these wars have been selling them via the dumb idea that everything will turn out fine and that the oil and resource benefits will pay for the expense of the fighting - like when they said Iraq's oil would pay for the 2003 invasion. He says that the warmongers in Washington live in a fantasy land when it comes to this proposition.

It's very probable they're simply lying about 'good outcomes', and don't really care what sort of disaster unfolds, so long as they can line the pockets of the contractors and enrich themselves. It's the war gravy train, supported by endless debt/money printing. 'Everyone' gets paid while people are massacred.
