General Clark pointing out that Al Qaeda would not exist without the support of nation states and that extremists are used as tools when it comes to attacking other countries. This is from 10 years ago, so he's talking about what was going on in Syria and Iraq at the time, and likely Libya. Also, the Fox host is not a bimbo, she was trying to steer Clark away from talking about US involvement in what was happening - using extremists for regime change operations.
