Bowen and Albo are crying wolf... again. The ODD Cast 179 (Topher Field)

Once again we're seeing a 'scientific report' saying the end of the world is nigh... and once again they're claiming this report is 'new', that it's authoritative, and that we HAVE to act NOW!!!

Thing is... they said the same thing in 1987 when 260 scientists produced a 750 report predicting the end of the world...

In this video I go 'back in time' to look at that report and see... what happened to their predictions of doom and gloom the last time?



Most of the developing world, plus the US, are not reducing their CO2 outputs. Australia's reduction targets are actually doing NOTHING when it comes to 'saving the planet'. The only thing these targets are doing is destroying the economy through rising energy costs.

All of the predictions made in past climate studies, but specifically looking at the cited one from 1987, show that NONE of what was predicted came true. And the claims made in this recent report are the SAME as the failed ones of the past.

One footnote about the slight decline in (sea) ice coverage today (while we've also seen instances of record cold); particle pollution is the likely cause rather than a warming atmosphere. Dirty snow melts faster than clean snow.

The warming we've seen in all the published charts is manufactured through urban heat island effects and alterations to the raw data that are 'justified' using various excuses. Rural temperature data, free of heat islands and manipulation, shows no rise in temperatures over at least 100 years (although temperatures clearly did rise beforehand as the Earth came out of the Little Ice Age during the 19th century).  

NET ZERO targets, or anything approximating them, are country destroying and must be stopped. The rest of the world is ditching this madness but Australia is such a sucker country when it comes to global politics that a lot of damage will be done before corrective action takes place.
