New Poll: Ukrainians Are DONE WITH War Against Russia! (Jimmy Dore)

New polling shows that a majority of Ukrainians now favor negotiating an end to the war with Russia rather than fighting until outright victory. This marks a dramatic reversal from 2022, when most supported fighting until Ukraine won. Confidence in achieving NATO membership or fully reclaiming occupied territory has also collapsed, with many Ukrainians doubting the war will end anytime soon.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger frame this shift as evidence that Ukraine is losing badly, while they mock mainstream media for belatedly acknowledging this reality.



The poll was likely taken in the West of the country. Other regional areas of the country, in the East, had large sections of the population that never favoured ANY of the fighting that occurred, going back to the 2014 coup. They were against the fact that Kiev rolled in the tanks when the Donbas and Crimea refused to acknowledge the coup Government. Those being attacked wanted Russian protection and they got it, and they would have wanted a negotiated peace that guaranteed their safety at any stage over the last 10 years. This outright victory thing is something that the Russians now see as something they must do to stop further fighting the future as earlier peace attempts were sabotaged. The Ukrainian side's outright victory was one of purging the the Russian population in the East that's now failed.
