Two major child exploitation arrests in Texas have reignited debate over selective justice and institutional accountability. The FBI, under the direction of Dallas field offices, apprehended Carlos Ruiz and Christopher Driskill in separate operations involving severe abuse of minors and dark web networks. Ruiz, who trafficked children for abuse, received an 80-year sentence, while Driskill was identified via social media tattoos and sentenced to 60 years. Despite public praise from Dan Bongino and Kash Patel for the FBI’s actions, the announcement sparked backlash online, with critics demanding transparency around the unresolved Jeffrey Epstein case and questioning leadership failures higher in the justice hierarchy.
