THIS Is Why People Don’t Trust the Experts (Lotus Eaters)

The discussion being examined here was about declining economic conditions in the West, where the expert was obfuscating the truth. Reference was also made to what happened during the pandemic right at the start.

One should note that experts tend to be specialists in narrow fields, are not infallible, and can be corrupt. Whatever they say needs to be backed up with data - in other words verifiable. And as a matter of course, when it comes to science and debate, experts should never be trusted. "Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts," to quote physicist Richard P Feynmen.
