Every country needs to be as self sufficient as possible, just as things were 100 years ago. The dependency created by the globalist model has led to lopsided development throughout the world with a few major manufacturing centres stopping local manufacturing, innovation and job creation. The other danger in a globalised system is if there is a disaster at one point in the chain everything everywhere grinds to a halt.
