The best thing about these hearings is that the public is being educated about all the CORRUPTION the alternative media has been airing for DECADES. The intelligence community, at least the heads of the agencies, facilitated many unnecessary regime change wars, all built upon lies.
The intelligence community, overall, is heinously corrupted, being involved in wars of aggression, drug running, human trafficking, and (pedo) blackmail operations (Epstein/Diddy etc). Anyone defending them with a straight face doesn't know what they are talking about, or is deliberately lying.
The people in charge at the CIA, FBI, NSA and other institutions, need to be fired and then put under arrest. They're a danger to society. Their networks need to be unwound and the truth revealed. This confirmation hearing is the first, very difficult, step in that direction.
