Neil Oliver: We face surveillance of our lives and attempts to control our every behaviour (GBNews)

Neil Oliver: We face surveillance of our lives and attempts to control our every behaviour, making every one of us a convicted prisoner, presumed guilty at birth. 'But guilty of what exactly? Asking questions? Doubting the state narrative? I for one won’t live under that yoke!'

Good clip from Oliver. The big problem, outside of the basic intrusion of privacy, is the fact that we don't have good actors in the Government or intelligence agencies who are monitoring, or controlling, what people do or say. What they do is try to stifle dissent of those criticising the State or their sponsors. This is the immediate problem we face when times go bad - the crushing of dissent. The State has always snooped on people, but as things really come to a head, when those in Government are pushing destructive/oppressive policies, and protecting cronies, it becomes important for people to speak out, to instigate political reforms (and get a new Government). Presently you end up with a visit from coppers (at least in the UK) if your dissent is deemed too offensive and/or likely to instigate violence or create harms.
