GAZA INVADES ISRAEL | Suprise Invasion Took Place | War Restarts (Weeb Union)

Conflict summary with maps and on-the-ground video. The idea might be to risk attacking Israel since they are being killed anyway. The war in Ukraine may have also given them confidence to operate against Israeli armour, air power and artillery. The attacking force looks like it is compromised of lightly armed raiders that are not large in number. They might be hoping for support from militants in Lebanon and Syria.  

Note: The icons on the map, showing the areas of fighting, may only represent a handful of Palestinians in each location. This may be more like a raid, done out of desperation and/or to get attention and drum up support, rather than being a legit 'invasion'. The attackers are already being bombed and have yet to face a full response by the Israeli Army.
