Russia Counterattacks Vremevka, Advances Kupiansk, Oskol; West, Nigeria Mull Intervention Niger (Alexander Mercouris)

The war in Ukraine continues as before. The big story, right at the end of this clip, is the coup in Niger, where the military appears to be changing sides from the French and US sphere of influence towards the Russians. The US already has troops stationed in the country, and it is almost certain that the coup will be challenged - likely with help from neighbouring African countries? It's probable that the West will keep at arms length and let other countries in the region act on its behalf, although the French may try to replicate what they did with their counter terrorism operations in Mali (Operation Serval, 2013-2014) provided they can come up with a credible political excuse. The other factor is what neighbouring African countries might come in to support the coup Government (Algeria, Libya etc)? Maybe events will fizzle out and the coup leaders will make a 'too good to refuse' deal with the US and French?
