A recent report by Desjardins claims that although high immigration levels are contributing to significant housing shortages and affordability problems, it is necessary for Canada’s economic future. Drea Humphrey and Tamara Ugolini break down the report.
Economic problems/mismanagement discussed in Canada ... similar to other areas in the West. Issues of housing shortages, not enough jobs for migrants, homeless citizens, stupid red tape, high levels of inflation etc. Economic policy should not be set towards endless 'growth' but stability. Eventually, the pursuit of endless growth will lead things off a cliff.
