The bottom line is that the Ukrainians are not making much headway in terms of significantly damaging the Russians, nor any headway in advancing across the battlefield. The Russians are bombarding the entire country of Ukraine, delaying the Ukrainian offensive. These updates on the fighting continually describe new missile attacks, day after day, something that the Western side said would not be possible because the Russians would run out of ordinance.

A key thing to consider is that almost everything the Ukrainian side has said about the war is caked in propaganda. They lie about many things and describe relatively trivial successes as great victories.

At the time of publication there are a lot of online reports of Russian advances in Ukraine - on three separate fronts. 

Addendum: In the last day there was an ABC News Australia report on Russian torture in Ukraine, and surprise surprise, it was an exact copy of claims made against the Ukrainians (neo Nazis), known to film their brutality, that came out a few days ago. It looked like a mirror image report. More Ukrainian lies to cover for the crimes of their soldiers? It is a pity that the Ukrainian side now has a reputation for not telling the truth in this conflict - like the boy who cried wolf. The online alt media community will likely not support them even if crimes were being committed against their forces.
