As many say Russia has started its offensive there are a few critical pieces that are under heavy fighting, Today we explore why this City in the Donetsk oblast could be critical to both Ukraine and Russia.



Pro Western video, where the host has trouble admitting that Ukraine is not holding Bakhmut (things turning bad before they get better?!). They are being pushed out. All the troops sent to hold the pocket have been chewed up by artillery and by Wagner assaults. His talk about nothing changing on the map misses out on the fact that Russia is smashing the Ukraine line with artillery. He keeps talking about both sides being exhausted etc. This sort of view is a mistake. It misses out on the huge logistical differences. Also, the British MoD press releases he reads from, going from past vids, are heavily laden with a propagandistic view of what is happening. Posted for the map analysis.
