One of the surprisingly tropes to come out of the Ukraine War is the recurring instance of photographs running in international media outlets showing Ukrainian soldiers and everyday citizens who just happen to have tattoos depicting Nazi imagery. Most recently a Reuters story about fighting on the outskirts of Kharkiv included a photo of “local resident” who, upon closer inspection, had a swastika tattoo on his upper arm.

This is the story of the underhanded smearing of the Comicsgate movement from a supposed ally (IconicComics) through a third party (Comic Book Hut). There's obviously always going to be disagreements between individuals in any movement, and from those adjacent to it, but what happened here is on another level - putting out a continuous stream of hitpiece videos.
In the clip EVS reminds me of Flash Gordon when he says that everyone should be on the same side, the side of the good guys, in order to fight against evil. He's right.
In my opinion, so long as people act in good conscience, in a noble way, there should be no major problems. Honesty at all times is a good policy. Backstabbing, like what was uncovered here, is something that people with mental issues try on.

Global trade is a hot topic of the G7 summit in Canada. Is free trade truly free - and fair? What roles do US President Trump, economic powerhouse China, and the EU play in global trade?
At one point they say protectionism was bad, citing the 1930s, but you can see that it's generally not bad at all. I'm pretty sure they mischaracterised what was going on back then. Globalism is the bad idea. In Africa, in the last section, you can see their domestic farming industry being destroyed by cheap European imports. Economies should be all about local jobs and self sufficiency. A globalised system also suffers if one part of the system fails, like a ship with no water tight doors. When one section fails everyone fails. It's better to have a lot of redundancy in the system.
