Progressives Betray Voters & Back Rabid Zionist for Speaker (Jimmy Dore)

Despite Democratic gains in the midterm elections, party leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries remain unpopular with voters and are likely to be selected as party leaders without any promise of delivering on major progressive priorities such as Medicare for All or breaking with U.S. support for Israel. Jimmy criticizes Jeffries for his past pro-Israel rhetoric and questions why New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and other progressives continue supporting Jeffries for leadership, particularly after Jeffries's reported meetings with Jared Kushner.

He contends that Democratic leadership positions are determined less by political leadership than by fundraising power and loyalty to corporate donors, the military-industrial complex, pharmaceutical companies, and pro-Israel interests; he also questions whether progressive lawmakers will actually withhold their votes unless Jeffries makes concrete commitments. Along with Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger, he highlights Ro Khanna's promises to push for an Iran war resolution, a vote on Israel aid, and Medicare for All, but agrees with critics who predict those promises will not translate into meaningful action, portraying the leadership contest as political theater rather than a genuine opportunity for change.



The Epstein class is still in control. Democrat voters that think the election will really change things are mistaken. The only things that will get pushed will be country destroying globalist policies like Open Borders and Net Zero. Voting Republican is actually the lesser of two evils since they lean slightly nationalist, with the America First mentality, but both sides are captured by corporatists and special interests.
