There are two major things in play with what's going on in the world today, and they are that these wars are part of the Grand Chess Board idea to gain, or deny, control over resources in Central Asia and the Middle East, to thwart China and Russia, plus actions that serve the interests of the Israeli neocons. Henningsen points out that recent actions from the US (Israelis) are tantamount to organised crime - a protection racket/extortion, demanding compliance or else suffer the consequences.
