Reality Is About To Hit Trump HARD – Says Col. Douglas Macgregor (Jimmy Dore)

Retired Col. Douglas Macgregor joins Jimmy to warn that the United States is on an unsustainable economic path, citing rising national debt, annual interest costs, persistent deficits, inflation, and the growing difficulty of financing government borrowing. He argues that decades of borrowing and money creation have allowed politicians to avoid making difficult fiscal choices, but warns that if investors lose confidence in US debt, the government could face a severe financial crisis and lose access to affordable credit.

Comparing the potential consequences to Sri Lanka’s economic collapse, Macgregor speculates that a US crisis could trigger government instability and warns that ordinary Americans could face risks to their pensions, bank deposits, and financial security. Macgregor says he has moved out of the stock market and predicts gold could reach $10,000 per ounce by 2029, presenting it as a hedge against geopolitical and financial risk rather than offering a definite timeline for an economic collapse
.

The fact that the US doesn't simply print its own money to cover costs, and funnels it through bonds, is the prop up the phony system that is already in place. It's a Potemkin village.
