Seyed M. Marandi: U.S.-Iran War Enters a New Dangerous Phase (Glenn Deisen)

Prof. Seyed Mohammad Marandi is a professor at Tehran University and a former advisor to Iran's nuclear negotiation team. Marandi discusses a new phase of the US-Iran War as both the US and Iran aim to assert escalation dominance.



Iran's new leader is in favour of an aggressive war vs the US, striking them wherever they can, to drive them out of the region. Iran is not attacking Israel, that continues to bomb Lebanon, since they are scheduled for upcoming elections. Any Iranian attacks on Israel will drive the public towards supporting Netanyahu that the Iranians want voted out of office. The bottom line is that oil supplies will be restricted for some time.
