Seyed M. Marandi: Iran Threatens to Kill Netanyahu & Will Increase Pressure on the U.S.(Glenn Diesen)

Prof. Seyed Mohammad Marandi is a professor at Tehran University and a former advisor to Iran's nuclear negotiation team. Marandi discusses that Iran threatened to send Netanyahu to "hell", and will likely also increase pressure on the U.S. in response to the economic warfare against Iran.



US claims of controlling the Strait of Hormuz and crushing Iran economically are false. Any moves to militarily strike them will be met with the destruction of neighbouring countries. Iran has actually threatened to assassinate Netanyahu who has had no problem assassinating people throughout the region. 

The end of the interview turns towards Turkey-Israel relations and the fact that Iran, despite Turkish betrayals, would back Turkey from Israeli aggression. Iran is opposed to corrupt Governments and war in the region and not the people in general.  Public opinion has turned against Israel, and Iran is winning the long game in this regard. In the end the US will need to withdraw from the region for there to be a lasting peace, with a big shift in the regional balance of power. 

A big question then arises, will the Israelis do something drastic in order to turn the tables, by employing weapons of mass destruction on Iran, or some other measure? They can see they are losing, so will they back off or go the next step?
