One of the World's Deadliest Volcanoes Just Went Nuts...(Stafan Burns)

Starting on September 4th 2026 a major volcanic eruption hit Anak Krakatau (Krakatoa) Volcano in Indonesia, sending an ash plume at least 15 km (50,000 ft) above sea level into the stratosphere. If this volcanic eruption scales up to be even bigger, Indonesia and even the world could be in some big trouble. Geophysicist Stefan Burns reports...



The ash cloud will impact the global climate. After the 2022 Tonga eruption rainfall increased in certain locations around the world for a year. Another thing to consider is that the vast majority of volcanoes are underwater. What influence to they have on ocean temperatures and the global climate?
