‘Migrants didn’t build Australia, Australians did’: Call for defence of national identity (News24)

Institute of Public Affairs Research Assistant Jordan Abou-Zeid says Australia has been built by Australians, not migrants.

“Migration can be good or bad; the numbers can be too high or too low. It can aid an economy, or it can cost our nation dearly,” Mr Abou-Zeid said.

“As a country, we have to stop subjecting ourselves to this identical crisis, so don’t let anyone let you ever again; don’t let them tell you that you can’t have a country, that you don’t have an identity, that your country was built by someone else.

“After all, migrants didn’t build Australia; Australians did.”



The clip makes an important observation in that there is a difference between migrants and the settlers that built modern Australia. The settlers built the country from nothing, whereas the migrants came after it was already established. They were not part of its creation.

One other point about Western countries in general is that their original, and lasting, identity is Anglo-European, with contributions from either indigenous peoples or select minority groups. As such the overriding identity, and culture, is Anglo-European. The main point is that Western countries are based on Western CULTURE.

New migrants arriving into the West, who have a problem with this culture, or want to change the customs and traditions, or standards, that are currently enjoyed by the established population should leave. Do not travel to another country if you don't like the people and culture of the other country. It's that simple.

What's happening in many parts of the West today is more like an invasion by alien and hostile force that won't be satisfied until Westerners have become minorities in the countries they have built.
