Australians suffered a post-pandemic cut in real wages between 2021 and 2023. What's more, it's become clear that those born in the 1990s are the first generation to not do better than those who came before.



The key issues that Kohler points to is that there have been higher taxes, higher interest rates, inflation, and a massive increase in house prices. Things today are worse than they were a few years ago.
