Australia is incapable of sensible policy debate (Leithvo)

This weekend's Treasury of Common Sense with Luke Grant on Radio 2GB/4BC broke down the latest on the immigration and climate change debate, which have been marred by misinformation and obfuscation.

Editorial comment:

It's not racist to vote for Nationalist parties that want closed borders. The migrants that I talk to that support closed borders understand the importance of protectionism - something many people on the left struggle to incorporate into their psyche. They see protectionism as tantamount to racism which is not true. They don't seem to grasp basic action-consequence thinking in the face of this kind of rhetoric. Thankfully many people can see what's going on around them, with a failing economy and sky high house prices and rents due to increased demand caused by open borders. They can also see the folly of NET ZERO policies that most people on the left simply accept because they've bought into the bankrupt idea of climate change (global warming), something most of the rest of the world has rejected.
