A lot of countries want an end to the conflict, especially those tied to China's Belt and Road initiative. Pepe says the US is boxed in, such that they must fall in line with the MOU. On the other hand the neocons are likely to restart hostilities in a desperate attempt to have the US engage in a full scale war. The Israelis will gamble that if the region falls apart US forces will be sent to protect their country. The big problem is Iranian ballistic missiles have no problem knocking out Israeli power and water infrastructure.
