Trump claimed that Iranian military capability has largely gone, but this is false. Key aspects remain. They still have thousands of drones and ballistic missiles and boats kept in secure underground facilities.

The simple fact of the matter is that the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. The US military cannot be deployed in the region as evidenced by the recent destruction of their forces in Jordan. Iran can target anything in the area thanks to intelligence provided by the Russians. The US can basically do very little except to agree to the terms of the MOU.

While this plays out an oil shortage crisis is looming that will likely end these shenanigans in any event, once again, in Iran's favour.

"They break their word" -- coming from the guy who bombed them twice during negotiations and immediately violated the MoU. And no one in the media ever challenges his blatant lies.
