If there is to be freedom at all... there must be freedom FOR all, and that means sometimes we have to stand up for the freedoms of people we don't like.

That's exactly what's happening here as the Free Speech Union does what no one else is willing to do... stand up for the existence of a political party they DON'T like... in order to protect the freedoms of all Australians.

The case that is headed for the high court is ugly, but important, and if the Labor Government get away with banning one political party... what's to stop them banning more?



The Free Speech Union is defending a ban on neo-Nazis out of principle. If they can be banned as a hate group then this can be extended to other political parties.
