The failure is the point.
The aim is for the Government to have complete control over social media, after they tried to lock down information-sharing during Covid. They tried their misinformation gambit on the public and it ultimately failed. This is a move towards a censorship dictatorship. The upside is that this move towards a world of censorship is training young people people, and also the wider public, to resist them.
