Seyed M. Marandi: Iran Strikes Ships as the U.S. Tests Iran's Control Over the Strait of Hormuz (Glenn Diesen)

Prof. Seyed Mohammad Marandi is a former advisor to Iran's nuclear negotiation team. Prof. Marandi discusses the continued attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, the US efforts to renegotiate the MoU, the possibility of improved ties between Iran, the Arab States, and Turkey.

Iran is pushing heavily for the Israelis to cease their attacks in Lebanon, and they are not afraid of enforcing restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz. Marandi lays out Iran's position in this conflict. The war is certain to continue, with the world facing devastating oil shortages.
