Ethan Van Sciver was a victim of wokeness in the comic book industry, where he was blacklisted for being a conservative after Trump won the Presidency in 2016. The issue with the film for him is that it perpetuates the DEI push in Hollywood, and its success simply encourages more of the same. It facilitates discrimination against conservatives. You can do something about this by refusing to view the film.
