They Nearly Understand Racism (Sargon)

People often conflict with other people who have different ideas about the world, whether on a personal level or wider cultural level. This is how countries formed. It doesn't necessarily mean that people from different groups hate the other group, but having differences does cause real world problems, and these problems can be lessoned by having borders.

Sargon points out that many on the left react to people pointing out this fact by calling them racists, where they also seem to be prejudiced against Western European people (likely because of the colonial era).

In the world of leftist ideology, countries are seen as simply governmental jurisdictions, rather than cultures made up of distinct people, particularly when it comes to the West, where having open borders means nothing to them. They are looking at everyone as being the same, when, unfortunately, this is not true.

What actually happens when you let in large numbers of people from foreign cultures is ... balkanisation, which is the same process that formed countries in the first place. This situation is made worse by the fact that many leftists are self-hating guilt-ridden individuals, and therefore look the other way when their own society falls apart (becoming second class citizens, or second class minorities, in their own lands).
