Rupert Lowe has unveiled a 200-page report into the grooming gangs scandal, describing it as one of the most extensive and devastating failures in modern British history. Speaking after the inquiry's findings were published, Lowe accused politicians, police, social services, local authorities, the NHS, the judiciary and the media of failing vulnerable victims for years. He praised survivors who gave evidence and warned that the inquiry is only the beginning, promising private prosecutions and further action against those he believes failed to act. Lowe argued that previous scandals, including the Post Office and infected blood cases, demonstrate how public institutions avoid accountability, and insisted that those responsible must finally be held to account.



Private prosecutions are now the next step, along with continued investigations.
