Marandi points out that the Iranians expect the war to resume, since the conditions for peace are far from being met. He holds out hope that the US will back off due to the threat of an economic disaster. The biggest problem is the continued Israeli attacks in Lebanon. The clip opens with reports of an attempted coup in Iraq, a country that is still under the control of the US.
