Inside the New UFO Files: What They Actually Show (Richard Dolan)

A new tranche of “UFO files” has just been released from Washington, and there’s already a lot of speculation about what it all means. In this video, Richard goes through the material directly—historical documents, space-era transcripts, and recent military ISR cases from the 2020s—to see what’s actually there. Some of it has been public for years. Some of it is potentially interesting. This is a beginning of the process of actually examining the files themselves.

Very good summary of the recently released files by author Richard Dolan. If you are interested check out the 30 min clip. See below for a longer audio from the Gemini 7 mission which gives a better sense of what was happening that the short clipped section featured here. We've had the Gemini transcript for decades. They reported a 'bogey' while they also had in sight a rocket booster, and debris, that tended to rule out the unknown object as being either of those things. Dolan shows some other released videos that came out in this document dump showing flying orbs. While the modern footage could be drones of some sort we have the same sort of things from 80 years ago. It would be nice of them to release the older film footage that we know they have - going from the written reports that are on file. So the big deal is that we're being visited and/or examined, and probably experimented on.

Editorial comment by Spookyone:

Having a rational/scholarly interest in this subject stretching back into the early to mid 90s, as opposed to it being some sort of fancy, has helped me deal with all manner of difficult subjects. The key thing is to identify a signal from the noise which requires a close look at individual cases plus also the data in general. It's about having an actual scientific mind. People who work in many professional fields often don't have very rational thought processes outside of their specialised fields. They end up following protocols rather than looking at things with an open and rational mindset. Stuff that falls outside of their area of expertise tends to be framed through psychological presuppositions.

So what we are looking at here, with this file release, are sets of data, much of which is highly credible.

The other end of the stick, when it comes to expert analysis, is that we have to deal with official disinformation artists that claim expertise but basically lie to the public and offer up erroneous explanations. They will say something is a weather balloon, or the planet Venus, or an aircraft despite these things clearly being ruled out. It's their position as an authority that tricks other intelligent people, who are often unfamiliar with the individual cases, into thinking there's nothing to consider.

The big lesson is to NOT blindly trust people in positions of authority. The data is most important. It's not simply an academic lesson either - especially when we are dealing with things such as experimental medicines forced onto the public. Having an independent, open, and inquiring mind is really important. It often doesn't matter too much, but sometimes that characteristic can save your life.

People who have been lucky enough to have such training, need to help everyone else as much as possible.
