CIA Agent’s Painful Realization He Was Fighting On The WRONG SIDE! w/ Larry Johnson (Jimmy Dore)

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson joins Jimmy to explain that the claim that Iran has been "at war with the US for 47 years" is a complete fabrication, noting that the US supplied chemical weapons to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war, has funded and armed the MEK terrorist group, and has never suffered a single Iranian terrorist attack on US soil—while 90% of post-2000 attacks have come from radical Sunni groups that Iran was actively fighting.

Johnson reveals that General Soleimani, whom Trump assassinated, was actually fighting ISIS alongside US interests, and that the US, Turkey, and Israel were on the same side as ISIS in Syria while Iran fought against them. He traces US support for Islamic extremism back to the 1980s under Zbigniew Brzezinski, who used the extremist Mujahedin fighters to bleed the Soviet Union in Afghanistan—a strategy that continued through the Chechen wars and ultimately brought Putin to power.

He concludes that the US, not Iran, is the "number one purveyor of terrorism in the world," and that American foreign policy is driven not by the interests of the American people but by the military-industrial complex and major financiers who profit from endless war.



The only thing Larry misled the public on here is to omit the fact that the 911 attacks were an inside job, but otherwise he is absolutely correct that the US is a key supporter of terrorism and proxy war around the world (heavily steered by neocons). Please remember that the Israelis have also heavily funded HAMAS.
