Alex Jones ENDS InfoWars With Final Broadcast! (Jimmy Dore)

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the end of Alex Jones's InfoWARS channel after a Texas receiver stopped paying the studio bills, noting that Jones lost $1.5 billion in Sandy Hook defamation lawsuits by default due to "repeated failures to comply with discovery" and that Jones later conceded on the stand that the shooting was "100% real." The satirical site The Onion, now owned by NBC's former disinformation reporter Ben Collins, won a bankruptcy auction for Infowars' assets, but the takeover deal was paused by a Texas appeals court with a hearing set for May 28th.

The two criticize Jones's claim that God "leads guys to direct us" in the "holy fight," and argues that The Onion's plan to run a parody Alex Jones show with an impersonator "won't work on any level" because "InfoWARS doesn't matter without Alex Jones." Jones has stated he will continue via a new "Alex Jones Network" on Twitter, Telegram, and other platforms, framing the legal actions as "lawfare to silence him."
