An image of an IDF soldier in southern Lebanon smashing the head of a Jesus statue with a sledgehammer recently went viral, and the IDF later confirmed the photo was authentic — although some pro-Israeli commentators like Max Abrams initially dismissed the image as an "AI job.” Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger argue that the soldier knew exactly what he was doing by turning the statue upside down first, and that this is part of a pattern of Israeli persecution of Christians, including assaults on worshippers in Jerusalem on Easter Sunday.
