The people at the top in the EU come across as outright crooks, laundering money on the back of this war, who don't care about Europe more widely with their destructive open borders policies. It's like they want Europe to burn to the ground as money is shovelled in their direction through the war in Ukraine. The continent is being run by Philistines.  

Remember what Assange said about the war in Afghanistan, that it was intended to wash money from the taxpayers towards corporate/special interests - that it was about money laundering while people were being killed to facilitate it. Similar thing here.
