Asmongold looking at how El Salvador was fixed. When things get really bad, with violent actors running the show, where corruption is rife, being soft and nice, and wanting to put people into some sort of voluntary rehabilitation program doesn't work. Psychological one-on-one strategies vs organised groups of people tends to fail. You can talk empathy and love all you want, but vs organised groups of men, a level of coercive force (a show of strength) is needed. You can add therapy in later. For people arguing the human rights aspect to this case, in defence of the perpetrators, you have to consider that the people being locked up are essentially terrorists who engage in murder to get their way. In that situation everyone that part of this group should be arrested. For good people to prevail against massive corruption an element of force is often needed. The same thing applies to corrupt Governments. The people in charge, who engage in illegal wars and murder, should also be arrested. It's the same principle.
